Unstuck. Unplanned. Unseen.
When the everyday gets too heavy and we feel like we are stuck in a rut, what comes to our rescue and helps us get unstuck?

Moving through the motions of daily life, running through chores, taking it all in in my stride. Then comes a day, not so long ago, when I just want to lie down and scream out, 'No more.' This day appeared in the recent past, and I jumped on an unplanned trip.
Quickly, I grabbed some caffeine and, as I sipped, I scrolled through holiday packages and hotels and looked up some retreats and resorts too. The prices made me question my budgeting tools. Picked, compared, booked and packed. Unplanned trips are worth the escape.
Booked a transport and hopped on in. All the while wondering…
This stuckness took its toll. Is this something I want to embark on? Too late for doubts and questions? The wheels moved as the steering was directed. The city streets reminded me of a stranger clothed in jazzed-up tracks and concrete. Modernised routes and vintage streets all played a part in my city.
Together with the rest, I headed out; the tiredness of daily life slowly was swept away by the wind that brushed away my locks. The sun shone brighter than on an average day. Maybe I stepped out after a long, long time. The air was refreshing once again. I had forgotten what this felt like on my skin. Too akin to beautiful walls and comfort.
As we made our way towards the hills, the open land gently whistled, the crops swayed gently, and the petals waved; the trees stood strong on this sunny day.
The winding roads of Panchgani unwound my otherwise tangled mind. At last, at home, I’ve arrived.
Home is where the heart is; my heart moves wherever I take her, too. She travels to the places unseen, without the desire to stick to a plan, without the need to feel a certain way; she keeps discovering parts of herself lost somewhere in between.
