Do We Dare To Mask-Drop?
We all have probably heard about the mic-drop moment, one done to make a statement. But have you heard about the mask-drop moment?

What exactly is this, and why is it such a big deal?
Did you know that in todayโs AI world, we are not only hiding behind the tools and tricks, but we are also losing ourselves in the process. Our thoughts, our personalities, our expressions, which were ours, are now more borrowed than ever before.
How can we amalgamate our authenticity with these changing times?
Do we need to wait for another AI tool that will help us find our way back to ourselves? Or could we decode it?
Here are 3 ways to arrive at your mask-drop moment:
When you get a post written by AI, read it first in your mind and then out loud as you would to your closest friend. Use a mirror if it helps, or actually call your friend and let them hear you. Because we are ourselves, at least most of ourselves, with the people closest to us. Remember, youโre explaining it to your friend as you would discuss any life event.
Are you your worst critic? Or do you take othersโ criticism to heart? Well, Iโve been in that boat for a very long time, and it wasnโt fun. Imagine the Titanic sinking, but in slow motion. Thatโs what the critic inside our head does; itโs a slow but detrimental process. Have compassion for yourself first, and I donโt mean throw a pity party. But really, tell yourself it is okay, you woke up 30 minutes late today, or you didnโt stick to a hardcore routine. And forgive yourself and let yourself know you will try again and again until you can find a routine that works for you. And do it with love and compassion.
I get it is difficult to sit still when we are bombarded with so many to-dos and posts. But the mind will go crazy and follow any and every trail out of curiosity or boredom if you let it, and in turn, it will negatively affect your well-being. You could, however, train your mind to sit still for 10 minutes a day. Pick any time of the day that works for you, and while you do this, I promise you it is going to be an uphill battle, but
Then try it for another 7 days and share your thoughts on LinkedIn, and then another 7 days. If you start now, youโll reach that sweet spot, that time and duration that works for you, well before this year ends.
So, are you ready and willing to be true to you?
